Software Engineer – 3D Visualization & HMI

We’re growing! Our Autonomous Driving team in Parma (Italy) is seeking a Software Engineer – D Visualization & HMI to join the team.
The opening is for a Software Engineer that will focus on the development of advanced visualization tools for ADAS and Autonomous Driving applications. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development and testing of the D Visualization system running on autonomous vehicles equipped with state-of-the-art obstacle tracking, D reconstruction and planning algorithms.
Responsibilities

Design and implement D visualization components to showcase the Autonomous Driving stack in real time;
Develop HMI elements for interacting with the embedded platform;
Build software modules for dataset visualization and playback;
Design and integrate tools to enhance interaction between components within the Autonomous Driving ecosystem;
Integrate the software components into the test vehicle;
Document software components and workflows to support team collaboration;
Participate in real-world testing activities, including data acquisition and autonomous driving experiments;

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, CS or equivalent;
Strong programming skills in C / C++ and scripting languages;

Experience with D rendering and HMI development;
Knowledge of D engine and frameworks;
Familiarity with shader programming( GLSL);

Experience with version control systems ( Git) and CI / CD best practices;
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and switch context effectively;
Good verbal and written communication skills;

Experience with Panda

D engine is a plus;
Master's degree is a plus;
