Junior Sous Chef at Crazy Pizza

The Junior Sous Chef at Crazy Pizza holds a direct reporting line to the Head Chef. You will be responsible for assisting in menu creation, leading kitchen operations during service, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring that every dish meets Crazy Pizza’s high standards of quality. On some occasion, the Sous Chef may be required to assume full operational responsibility in the absence of the Head Chef.

Your day to day:

Assist the Head Chef in leading, supervising, and coordinating the kitchen team. Ensure that all stations are operating smoothly during service and that kitchen staff are performing their tasks efficiently
Work alongside the Head Chef to introduce seasonal specials and innovative dishes that reflect the Crazy Pizza brand.
Lead and coach the team towards achieving exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction results
Monitor food production, ordering, cost, and quality and consistency on a daily basis
Ensure proper safety and sanitation of all kitchen facilities and equipment

Who are you?

Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role in a high-volume kitchen, preferably within an Italian or Mediterranean restaurant.
Strong understanding of Italian cuisine, with an emphasis on pizza-making techniques and traditional Italian ingredients
Possess strong leadership, communication, organization and relationship skills
Strong training and communication skills
