Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring 2+ years of cath lab experience and the ability to take call.

Details

• Work in a hospital Cath Lab with 5 recovery bays and 8 FTE staff
• 1:1 patient ratio per procedural room and 1:5 ratio in recovery
• Day shift schedule of five 8-hour shifts, 6:45 AM to 3:30 PM
• Uses GE/Philips equipment
• Meditech and MERGE EMR systems used
• Performs procedures including LHC, RHC, PCI, PTA, Stenting, Impella, IABP, Peripheral Angiograms, PPM, ICD, EP studies, some IR procedures, Thrombectomy, Laser, and Directional Atherectomy
• Floating to IR required
• On-call required approximately one week per month

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 2 or more years of Cath Lab experience required
• Must be able to take call
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Navy scrubs provided for dress code
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Local candidates will not be considered under any circumstances
