Tax and Bookkeeping Associate

Job Description

Blue Peak Tax Strategy is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Tax & Bookkeeping Associate to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has hands-on Quick Books Online experience, strong organizational skills, and an understanding of basic accounting and tax preparation procedures.

This is a part-time, in-office position for someone who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting clients in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile client accounts using Quick Books Online.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets.
• Assist with individual and business tax return preparation.
• Organize and review client tax documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with bookkeeping cleanup and year-end reconciliations.
• Maintain confidential client records and meet established deadlines.
• Provide general accounting and administrative support as needed.

Qualifications

• Quick Books Online experience required.
• Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of individual and business tax preparation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information.
