As an
Information Technology and Systems Administrator at CMC, you will oversee and maintain our IT infrastructure, support employees with their technology needs, manage cybersecurity and system security, and help improve business operations through technology. This role supports a wide range of systems, including network infrastructure, hardware, software, and our ERP system, while working closely with employees, management, and outside service providers. You will also have the opportunity to identify and recommend technology solutions that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support the company's continued growth.

Job Duties

• Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including PCs, servers, networks, software, and phone systems
• Administer cybersecurity systems and monitor compliance with established security policies, standards, and best practices
• Provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and resolution of hardware, software, server, and network issues
• Manage system backups, data recovery, software updates, patches, and installations
• Administer and support the company's Made2
  
  Manage (M2M) ERP system and SQL Server environment
• Assist departments with data extraction, analysis, and reporting using SQL Server and Crystal Reports
• Manage software licensing, user accounts, system access, and administrative permissions
• Oversee the procurement, installation, configuration, and life-cycle maintenance of IT hardware and software
• Maintain system configurations, manage technology changes, and ensure accurate technical documentation
• Coordinate with third-party technology vendors and service providers, including cloud-based server providers
• Identify, develop, and implement technology standards, procedures, and best practices
• Support IT-related functions within the manufacturing environment, including equipment and system connectivity
• Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to improve operational efficiency, reduce expenses, and support business objectives
• Assist with IT budgeting, project costs, vendor negotiations, and technology-related purchasing decisions as needed
• Continuously document and improve company IT processes and procedures
