Position Overview
Our client, a stable, established, and growing company in Hatfield, PA, has an immediate opening for a dependable and motivated 2nd Shift Machine Operator.
The ideal candidate will have previous machine operating experience, preferably in packaging or manufacturing. Candidates must be reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
Shift: 2nd shift, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
Location:
Hatfield, PA
Pay:
Starting at $18.00/Hour + 10% Differential
- Set up machines accurately and verify that equipment is ready to begin and complete production cycles.
- Monitor equipment and make adjustments as needed to maintain proper operation.
- Operate machinery efficiently to meet daily production requirements and company performance goals.
- Perform quality checks and maintain accurate records to ensure products meet customer and company standards.
- Assist with packing cartons of finished products.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards by cleaning machines and keeping the production area organized.
- Complete work orders and production paperwork neatly and accurately.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least one year of previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience with fill lines or packaging equipment preferred, but not required.
- Ability to read, understand, and record information in English.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, twist, and turn frequently throughout the shift.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
