BEAR Scotland is a leading road maintenance and management service provider in Scotland, maintaining and improving Scottish Trunk Roads including bridges and structures through some of the most scenic, but challenging, parts of the country.

• Measure and value progress of works based on a schedule of rates
• Collect, collate and store relevant measurement data
• Ensure all site and measurement records are completed by our operational teams
• Manage Sub‑Contractors including assessing applications, preparing payment notices, monthly liabilities and accruals
• Report the cost/value analysis of various sized projects

• Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management Degree or Qualification (Essential)
• Quantity Surveying Experience
• Background in Civils or Construction Environment (Desirable)
• Strong IT Skills – particularly with Microsoft Excel
• Ability to set priorities and work to strict deadlines
• Sound knowledge of MMHW
