Technician - Rotational Shifts

ROLE: TECHNICIAN

Location: Onsite – Perth, UK
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
Contract Type: Long-term temporary

• 2 weeks early shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm
• 2 weeks late shift: 2:00pm – 10:30pm

Manpower is recruiting a Technician for a long‑term temporary opportunity based onsite in Perth. This role provides hands‑on laboratory experience within a quality‑driven manufacturing environment, supporting the preparation and testing of diagnostic products, reagents, and microbiological media. The successful candidate will work to strict quality and regulatory standards, contributing to products that support global health, environmental safety, and scientific innovation.

• Prepare and test laboratory samples
• Carry out basic microbiological and pH testing
• Follow SOPs, GMP, and quality procedures
• Accurately record results and report any deviations
• Support the manufacture of reagents and microbiological media
• Maintain documentation and laboratory equipment
• Work collaboratively as part of a quality‑focused team

• Science degree or A‑levels in a relevant subject
• Previous laboratory or microbiology experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Willingness to learn and follow procedures
• Positive attitude and strong team‑working skills

• Basic laboratory and microbiology techniques
• Aseptic technique and pipetting
• Working to SOPs and GMP standards
• Adaptability and effective communication
