The Opportunity:

Lead Fresh Produce operational strategy

This Operations / General Management role will lead the company’s long term strategic relationship and develop long term plans managing the best fresh produce varieties all year round, resulting in an industry leading service and efficient fresh food supply chain. You will lead the operational team across a complex sited operation and represent the business at all times.

With a passion for success and productivity, to accompany a positive leadership approach, the successful Operations / General Manager role will be an imperative part of the companies operational leadership team. This position is newly created, offering an individual the opportunity to take the role and site with both hands, to make it their mission and goal to improve efficiencies, site culture, staff motivation and company position within the sector.

What You'll Bring:
Specialist Sector Experience
We require proven operational expertise gained specifically within the competitive fresh produce sector:
Senior

Experience:

Significant experience (5+ years preferred) gained at a senior level in operations within Fresh Produce (ideally fruit).

Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of the entire Fresh Produce Supply Chain.
Commercial Acumen:
Highly numerically minded and confident working with complex data.
Leadership Qualities:
Professional, confident, and highly effective communicator at all levels.
Resilience:
Ability to thrive and meet tight deadlines in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
