Adecco is currently seeking a skilled Hand Soldering Technician for a Temporary role in Peterborough, ON. Join a dynamic team in the electronics manufacturing industry, where you'll earn $19.25 Per Hour, contributing to the assembly of electronic circuit boards and mechanical units.

  • Pay rate: $19.25/hour plus $1.00 premium for 2nd shift
  • Location: Peterborough, ON
  • Shifts: 2 shifts available 1st – Monday-Thursday 7:45am-5:00pm and Fridays 7:45am-12:30pm 2nd - Monday-Thursday 3:45pm-1:00am and Fridays 12:00pm-4:45pm

  • Responsibilities:
  • Perform automated and manual assembly of electronic circuit boards.
  • Operate precision production equipment including SMT Pick & Place, AOI, Reflow Oven, and more.
  • Conduct post-insert hand soldering and rework non-conforming assemblies.
  • Apply conformal coating, adhesives, and chemicals manually or through automated processes.
  • Assemble mechanical end units according to engineering drawings using hand tools.
  • Refer to drawings and parts lists to validate and obtain correct components.
  • Adhere strictly to procedures, work instructions, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Complete required product and process documentation and enter data into ERP system.
  • Work independently and as a team to maintain production requirements and meet KPIs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned within functional areas.
  • Requirements:
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Experience in electronics manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and parts lists.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
