Semi-Senior Accountant

The One Group are recruiting for an Semi-Senior Accountant to join an established (top 15) accountancy practice in Peterborough on a permanent basis.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, full-time

• Preparing financial statements in line with relevant financial reporting standards for manager review.
• Creating supporting accounting schedules and ensuring compliance with UK GAAP.
• Working across varied accounts including FRS
  102, FRS
  102 1A, partnerships and consolidations.
• Managing workloads effectively to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Building and maintaining positive client relationships, handling queries directly or via managers.
• Offering practical recommendations around accounting systems, reporting, and process improvements.

• AAT qualified or currently studying towards ACCA or ACA.
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience within an accountancy practice.
• Strong double-entry and accounts preparation knowledge.
• Proficient with cloud-based systems such as Xero and Quick Books.

• £30,000-£32,000 per annum
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays with the option to buy or sell additional days
• Hybrid Working (2 days from home) & flexible core hours after probation
