Portfolio lead

Anne Corder Recruitment is partnering with a well-established UK business to recruit a Portfolio Lead to manage a portfolio on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This role will suit someone commercially minded who enjoys owning a product portfolio end-to-end, working closely with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to drive performance, innovation, and growth.

The Role:

Lead and manage a defined retail product portfolio
Own portfolio strategy, supplier relationships, and pricing negotiations
Manage new product development and product lifecycle activity
Support product launches and commercialisation with customers
Track market trends, competitor activity, and benchmarking
Work cross-functionally with sales, technical, marketing, and supply teams
Support tenders, reporting, and portfolio roadmaps

About You:

Experience in portfolio, category, or product management
Strong commercial and supplier negotiation skills
Confident working with multiple stakeholders
Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects
Background in FMCG, retail, or similar product-led environments preferred
