Mott Mac Donald Bentley are recruiting an Agricultural Liaison Officer to join the Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) – a 330 km water transfer project by Anglian Water, with an additional 260 km of pipelines and associated infrastructure to be delivered under AMP
8.
In this role you will be part of the Engagement team reporting to the Stakeholder Manager and the Project Installation and Assembly Manager (PIAM). You will act as the main contact for landowners, farmers and other stakeholders, informing them of project requirements, gathering feedback, and ensuring seamless communication with the project team.
Key Responsibilities- Produce archaeological risk maps (high, moderate, low risk)
- Serve as the key contact for all landowners/farmers/tenants throughout the project
- Discuss project impact with landowners, clarifying construction timelines and compensation matters
- Coordinate all pre‑entry assessments and surveys, collating additional information from stakeholders
- Collaborate on land drainage matters, assisting with post‑construction drainage design
- Record all stakeholder interactions and input data for monthly reporting
- Attend project meetings, monitoring for conflicting information that could impact landowners
- Proactively advise the project team of potential issues
- Coordinate tasks required for project close‑out, minimizing impact on landowners
- Engaging, enthusiastic personality able to build and sustain relationships with both project teams and external stakeholders
- Willingness to travel and work at the scheme location for the duration of the project
- Experience in large‑scale infrastructure programmes, especially those affecting agricultural businesses
- Proficiency in using project systems to record stakeholder interactions and project progress
- Proactive problem‑solving mindset with a focus on business objectives
- Can‑do attitude and enthusiasm to innovate and deliver results
