This Engineering Manager position is paying one of the highest packages in the geographical area and would suit someone who is hardworking and career minded.

Engineering Manager’s

Key Responsibilities:

Working as part of a mechanical industrial plant maintenance team where you will be the subject matter expert when it comes to engineering works
Leading safety, reliability and production engineering, promotion best practice and mentoring more junior engineers on site
In charge of maintenance improvement programs where you will look at root cause analysis to recommend appropriate changes/works needed on site machinery
Develop technical specifications to support the repair of non-routine maintenance breakdowns on site
Support maintenance tasks to ensure standardisation within the wider business

Skills & Experience Required as a Engineering Manager:

Need to be a strong mechanical engineer who has experience with fault finding on complex mechanical machinery
The ability to lead, coach and develop a mechanical engineering team, upskilling more junior engineers whilst acting as the subject matter expert
Strong communication skills with a forward thinking, strategic mindset
Experience working within a manufacturing site to include FMCG, food, beverages OR packaging industries

Shift details:  Permanent ,  Monday – Friday days working 8.30am – 4pm
There is also a commitment to working 1 in 8 weekends with time given off during the week on these occasions.
