Location:

Wigan - easily commutable to Manchester, Liverpool, Warrington, Bolton or St. Helen's
Salary:  £50,000 - £60,000, depending on experience
Job Type:  Full-time, Permanent

Are you a  Senior Civil Design Engineer  who enjoys working on  highways, drainage and residential development infrastructure  as part of a  tight-knit, knowledgeable design team ?

Our client is a respected civil & structural engineering consultancy with a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality design work across residential and commercial sectors.

As they continue to expand, they are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer who can take ownership of designs, act as a technical lead, and help shape infrastructure solutions that support growth across the North West and beyond.

Senior Civil Design Engineer

– Key Responsibilities     Lead and deliver highways, drainage and external levels design for residential developments.
Manage site appraisals and prepare drainage feasibility studies.
Produce accurate and compliant designs using AutoCAD, Causeway PDS and Causeway Flow.
Liaise with approving authorities to progress Section 38, Section 104 and SAB/LLFA submissions.
Work autonomously on design packages while supporting junior engineers when required.
Skills & Experience Required     Minimum 5 years’ design office experience within a civil engineering consultancy.
Strong capability to produce complete design packages independently.
Confident understanding of FRA requirements, drainage strategy and infrastructure approvals.
Excellent working knowledge of highway and drainage design standards, including S38, S104 and SAB.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Causeway PDS and Causeway Flow.
