Position: Engineering Supervisor (Permanent)

Salary: £50,000-£55,000 + benefits (life assurance & medical)

Monday-Friday, days (flexible)

An established FMCG business in Peterborough is seeking a fully qualified, multi-skilled Engineering Supervisor to lead and inspire their engineering team. This is a hands-off leadership role: you'll focus on managing, coaching, and supporting your team, stepping in for technical work when needed.

We're looking for a down-to-earth, proactive people person-someone who leads by example, works alongside their team, and builds a positive, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities:

* Lead, mentor, and develop a skilled multi-disciplinary engineering team

* Manage priorities, schedules, and team performance

* Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support when necessary

* Ensure smooth maintenance and production operations

* Maintain high standards of health, safety, and compliance

Requirements:

* Fully qualified multi-skilled engineer (mechanical/electrical)

* Proven experience as a team leader or supervisor

* Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills

* Hands-on experience in FMCG/manufacturing preferred

* Positive, proactive, and approachable team player
