- Develop a strong understanding of business data structures within a Snowflake environment and build relationships to comprehend data hierarchies in a mixed application environment.
- Assist in building and maintaining business rules, data views, and data catalogues to ensure accurate and accessible information.
- Collaborate with senior analysts and stakeholders to document data definitions and lineage for transparency and compliance.
- Support efforts to organize and optimise data for advanced analytics and AI‑driven solutions.
- Learn and contribute to processes that expose curated data to AI models, enabling the creation of robust vector databases.
- Participate in initiatives to integrate data into agentic frameworks, driving intelligent automation and decision‑making.
- Continuously expand technical skills in SQL, data modeling, and cloud‑based data platforms.
- Core Technical Skills
- Data modelling basics – understanding of tables, relationships, and normalization.
- Cloud data platform familiarity – exposure to Snowflake concepts like warehouses, schemas, and roles.
- Basic scripting – knowledge of Python for data processing and automation.
- Version control – familiarity with Git for collaborative work.
- Basic understanding of APIs – for exposing data to external systems or AI models.
- Understanding of data quality principles – accuracy, completeness, consistency.
- Soft Skills
- Communication skills – documenting and explaining data structures to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Continuous learning attitude – open to upskilling in AI, data engineering, and cloud technologies.
- Experience
- Attention to detail – critical for building accurate data views and rules.
- Problem‑solving mindset – ability to troubleshoot data issues.
