A well-established accountancy practice is looking for a Senior within its Audit & Assurance team. You'll play a key part in delivering high-quality audit and financial reporting services, managing a diverse portfolio of clients and supporting the continued development of junior team members.

• Manage and deliver audits from planning through to completion for a varied portfolio of clients.
• Prepare statutory accounts and corporate tax computations in line with UK requirements.
• Provide clear, practical guidance on areas such as UK GAAP, IFRS, VAT and company law.
• Maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact for advice and support.
• Supervise and review the work of junior colleagues, providing on-the-job training and feedback.
• Contribute to workflow planning and ensure projects are delivered efficiently and within deadlines.
• Support senior management with ad hoc tasks and wider business initiatives as required.

• ACA, ACCA, or CA qualified (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in external audit within practice, ideally across a range of industries.
• Sound technical knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive approach to mentoring, supporting and developing junior staff.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities effectively.
