Job Overview
Ask Jules is looking for a Personal Care Assistant for our client, a career professional based in Cambridgeshire. The role involves personal care and assistance with aspects of daily living.
Pay & BenefitsHours:
Part time or holiday support is required. This will be 56 shifts per year. Hours will be discussed prior to the interview (weekdays, weekends and overnight sleeping nights on call are required, so flexibility is essential). There is also an opportunity to support the client in Newcastle when he visits family and abroad (28 days per year).
Start Date:
ASAP
Pay Rate: £16.56 per hour
Care experience is not required – full training will be provided.
About Our ClientThe client has a spinal cord injury and will require support with all aspects of life, including personal care, clinical care, physiotherapy and general tasks around his home. Driving will be essential for this role.
Prior care experience is not required, though some experience is preferred.
About YouYou are unlikely to have experience in every aspect of our client’s care; therefore full training in his particular needs is provided.
You Will Need To Be- Physically fit, calm, patient and caring
- A confident driver holding a full UK driving licence with my own vehicle
- Fluent in the English language
- Reliable and trustworthy
- A non-smoker
- Organised and able to work on my own initiative
- A positive individual with a good sense of humour
- A mature and responsible individual
- Excellent hearing and communication skills
- Clean and tidy in both appearance and work methods
- Have a valid passport
