Your Role & Responsibilities
As a Recruitment Consultant, your role will involve both client and candidate relationship management, with a strong focus on delivering tailored solutions that support business growth.
- Managing and growing relationships with existing and new clients across the trade and construction industries
- Posting engaging and targeted job adverts across a variety of platforms
- Proactively sourcing, registering, and onboarding high-quality candidates
- Ensuring all compliance and documentation is completed to the highest standards
- Providing a first‑class experience for both clients and candidates
- Taking full ownership of your desk with a clear focus on revenue growth and account expansion
- Accurately maintaining all records within our recruitment database (Temp )
- Supporting out‑of‑hours communications and responding to urgent client needs as part of a shared rota
- Regularly reporting performance updates and contributing to team KPIs
- Using your problem‑solving and negotiation skills to resolve challenges and deliver solutions
- Proven experience in recruitment (3+ years preferred), with a strong record in managing and growing client accounts
- A results‑driven, proactive approach with the ability to own and grow a recruitment desk
- Exceptional communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
- High‑level candidate sourcing, headhunting, and networking skills
- Strong IT literacy – confident using CRM systems, job boards, and Microsoft Office
- Commercially savvy and highly responsive to client and candidate needs
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high‑performance environment
