** The Opportunity
** The selected candidate will become part of the Caterpillar IT team (Energy & Transportation Segment) located in Peterborough. This position involves supporting the Industrial Power Systems Division (IPSD) by serving as the intermediary between IT and diverse global business units, facilitating the creation of requirements, development, testing and utilisation of information systems across Sales, Marketing, Service, and the Aftermarket team.

The primary emphasis will be on gaining an in-depth understanding of the departments and their role in supporting Caterpillar's strategy aligned with available technology solutions.

The successful applicant will join a global team supporting comprehensive business operations, offering opportunities for professional growth and exposure to various business functions. Additionally, there will be experience gained with numerous application technologies and IT architectures, with a primary focus on Salesforce.
