Due to internal expansion we are looking for two Network Engineers to join our Infrastructure Services Team in Manchester, Peterborough, or London.

The Network Team provides expertise to design and implement network related projects and support day‑to‑day operational activities.

• Ensure the availability of infrastructure and back‑office related services.
• Problem diagnosis, troubleshooting, escalation and notification for all networking related product and hardware.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in complex systems and drive performance optimisations.
• Produce procedural documentation for use by IT and customers.
• Handle escalated customer/business issues at the appropriate level.
• Assist in solving difficult customer/business and technical issues.
• Liaison with other analysts or team members to share and develop ideas, also coordinate input to projects.

• Excellent knowledge of Cisco hardware including Switches, Firewalls and Routers, including Catalyst, Nexus, ISR, ASR, ASA. (Non-Cisco skills will be considered).
• Excellent knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls.
• Highly experienced working with Cisco IOS, VLANs, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP and comfortable working on resilient systems in high‑availability environments.
• Experience with Meraki or similar wireless systems.
• Experience with WAN technologies including point‑to‑point links and MPLS.
• Strong interpersonal and consultative skills.
• Experience in a multi‑site, similar sized multiple lines of business company.
