Waste Operative with Forklift License

Full Time, Permanent

37.5 hours per week at £12.75 per hour

2 pm to 10 pm, Monday through Friday

Candidate must hold a Counterbalance License

• Operating forklifts to transport, load, and unload waste materials within our facilities.
• Sorting and segregating different types of waste for recycling or disposal.
• Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations at all times.
• Assisting with general maintenance and cleaning of waste management equipment and facilities.
• Collaborating with team members to optimise operational efficiency and productivity.

• Valid forklift operator licence/certification.
• Previous experience in waste management or a related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
