Shift Technician – Kings Lynn – £45,000 - £55,000

ACR are working with a well-established manufacturer who are expanding out their internal engineering capabilities. The company is well established and are a world leading brand who are recognised across the globe. This Shift Technician position would form part of a larger engineering team who look after all maintenance works across the site.

Shift Technician’s

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain, troubleshoot and repair a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure reliable operation and minimal downtime
Carry out planned preventive maintenance as well as reactive fault-finding to support continuous production across a rotating shift pattern
Install, test, and support upgrades to machinery and systems, contributing to ongoing performance and efficiency improvements
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, working closely with operational teams to restore functionality safely and efficiently
Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance systems, completing accurate documentation and prioritising tasks through a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)

Skills & Experience Required as a Shift Technician:

Previous experience working as a Shift Technician, Multi Skilled Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or Technician, ideally within a manufacturing site
Either mechanical or electrically biased (opportunities for both are available)
Strong problem solving skills with the ability to fault find on machinery to quickly fix issues found
Must have the full right to work in the UK

Shift Technician’s Shift Pattern:

This position works on a 3 shift pattern which is detailed as follows:
- Early Shift, 07:00 – 15.00
- Late Shift, 15.00 – 23.00
- Night Shift, 23.00 – 07.00
This Shift Technician position is paying an annual salary package of between £45,000 and £55,000 dependent on experience which includes shift allowance in line with the above pattern.
