Senior Recruitment Consultant at First Recruitment Group
We're currently supporting a Water Management Operator in their search of a Mechanical Fitter in Peterborough.
It is a staff position, where you will assemble, install, maintain and repair mechanical components for functionality as well as support refurbishment and general maintenance tasks.
Conduct routine and preventative maintenance tasks.
Calibrate and validate instruments to maintain accuracy and compliance.
Work independently or collaboratively with qualified fitters, fabricators, welders, and electricians on larger projects.
Requirements- Proven mechanical assembly experience
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Hands‑on experience with PVC and stainless‑steel pipework, valves, and fittings
- Previous work in an industrial manufacturing or maintenance environment
- Mid‑Senior level
- Full‑time
