About the roleWorking as part of a broader team of QA Auditors and reporting directly to the Quality Assurance Supervisors, your key responsibilities include auditing, monitoring, improving and evaluating quality systems and procedures and providing technical support for operational teams. You will ensure the site meets all national quality and technical standards and the requirements of our grocery retailer partners.
Included in the role:
- Audit compliance against Quality Management Systems, GMP and HACCP controls, raising all non-conformances with objective evidence.
- Effectively communicate corrective actions and follow up to ensure completion.
- Understand the site traceability system to complete audits and retrieve information for investigation.
- Take samples (micro, nutritional, swab, organoleptic) against specific schedules and communicate progress timely.
- Prepare and facilitate taste panels, ensuring accurate recording and communication of results.
- Calibrate measurement equipment according to schedules and procedures.
- Assist the QA Supervisor in full investigations on specifications, complaints and incidents.
- Support NPD trials and product launches, including micro testing and product life assessment.
- Provide technical support and advice during customer visits or audits.
- Coordinate day-to-day activities to improve Technical KPIs.
- Operate safely and support continuous improvement in health, safety and environment.
Ideally you have professional experience within a similar technical/QA role in a food environment, but enthusiasm and drive to develop in quality assurance is a key qualification. You understand the chain of custody in food manufacturing and have worked on quality improvement projects.
You are an excellent communicator, proactive, innovative, and diligent. You demonstrate customer care, can‑do, teamwork, and a commitment to quality.
