Job Description & How to Apply Below

Your role

We’re looking for an Industrial Air Sales Engineer to help grow our presence across the East of England by delivering high-quality compressed air solutions. This is a field-based role where you’ll have the autonomy to manage your own territory, supported by a knowledgeable and collaborative sales team.

What you’ll be doing
  • Growing market share across your region by building strong, long-term customer relationships.
  • Managing the full sales cycle: identifying opportunities, carrying out site assessments, preparing tailored proposals, and guiding customers through to successful delivery.
  • Providing clear and accurate technical guidance to ensure customers receive the right solution for their needs.
  • Delivering compelling product demonstrations, attending exhibitions, and supporting commercial negotiations.
  • Maintaining excellent customer satisfaction by offering responsive and reliable after‑sales support.
  • Supporting and motivating the regional distributor network to help them achieve their goals.
  • Keeping accurate records of sales visits, market feedback, and pipeline activity to support decision‑making.
  • Working closely with colleagues across Sales, Product Management, Customer Service, Marketing, and Technical Support to deliver a seamless customer experience.
To succeed, you will need

We encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every single requirement. We value diverse experiences and perspectives and are excited to see what you bring to the role.

  • Experience in sales, ideally involving capital equipment or technical products.
  • A positive, proactive approach, with the willingness to learn, technical experience is helpful but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with both customers and colleagues.
  • Good IT skills and confidence working with digital tools and systems.
  • Strong organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise, plan your own schedule, and work independently.
  • A full UK driving licence, as this role involves travel around your territory.
  • Knowledge of the compressed air industry is a bonus, but not a requirement; we’ll support you with training.
In return, we offer
  • Autonomy and variety in your day‑to‑day work.
  • The opportunity to represent a globally recognised brand with a strong reputation for quality and innovation.
  • A chance to influence commercial success across a key region, contributing directly to revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Regular interaction with a wide range of industries and stakeholders.
  • Support from a friendly, inclusive team committed to helping you succeed.
