An exciting opportunity has arisen for a reliable and safety‑focused Class 2 Driver to join a leading agricultural and hatchery operation. This is a varied, hands‑on role combining professional driving with active work within modern, welfare‑led facilities. The position involves transporting live poultry and hatchery products across the UK using a specialist, low‑emission fleet designed for animal welfare and sustainability.

• Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle to transport live animals and hatchery products nationwide
• Load and unload vehicles independently, ensuring all welfare and safety standards are met
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain cleanliness and compliance
• Follow strict biosecurity, safety, and animal welfare procedures
• Complete all transport documentation accurately
• Support hatchery operations when not driving, including general duties and hygiene tasks
• Represent the business professionally when liaising with farms, depots, and clients

• Valid Class 2 (Category
  
  C) Driving Licence
• Previous commercial driving experience preferred (training can be provided)
• Strong understanding of load security, vehicle safety, and manual handling
• Physically fit and comfortable with hands‑on duties
• Flexible with working hours, including early starts, late finishes, and occasional overnight stays (accommodation provided)
• Commitment to biosecurity, animal welfare, and sustainability
• No contact with poultry or birds outside work (biosecurity requirement)
