Medical Delivery Driver – Peterborough (New Depot Launch)

Our client, a national leader in medical home‑delivery services, is opening a brand‑new Peterborough depot and is seeking experienced multi‑drop medical delivery drivers.

Pay: £12.73 per hour (temp), salary on conversion about £31,500, plus excellent benefits.

Shifts &

Hours:

• Monday to Friday, occasional 1 in 4 Saturdays.
• Start times 05:30 – 08:30.
• Approx 10‑hour days, guaranteed 5 shifts per week.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver prescription medication to patients’ homes in a standard transit‑style delivery van.
• Work with multi‑temperature compartments.
• Complete about 4,050 small parcel drops per shift and delivery documentation.
• Maintain accurate parcel handling.
• Provide a professional, friendly and reliable service at all times.
• Support the launch and growth of the new Peterborough operation.

Qualifications:

• Full UK driving licence (max 6 minor points).
• Previous multi‑drop or parcel delivery experience preferred.
• Comfortable driving a transit‑style van.
• Good customer service skills – friendly, reliable, professional.
• Ability to pass vetting & DBS checks due to handling medication.
• Strong attention to detail and care in handling medical parcels.
