MTrec recruitment are proudly representing our industry leading, high volume manufacturing client in their search for a talented and experienced maintenance electrician. The business is a highly successful manufacturer and is ideally located in the Peterlee area.

• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and carry out reactive repairs on production machinery.
• Quickly diagnose and resolve electrical faults to reduce downtime.
• Collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to maintain safe, efficient operations.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives.

• Experience in a FMCG related or high-volume manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
• You will be a time‑served maintenance professional‑preferably electrically biased.
• PLC fault‑finding skills would be an advantage but are not essential.
• Ideally you will hold an 18th edition qualification, but this is not essential.
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Flexibility to work overtime when required.
