Coordinador de Logística de Flotas para Vehículos Pesados

Our client, a prominent company in the logistics sector, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to fill the crucial role of Fleet Logistics Coordinator for heavy vehicles in Mexico City, Mexico City . This position is integral to ensuring the efficient and timely movement of goods across various regions. • Oversee the daily operations of the heavy vehicle fleet, ensuring adherence to schedules and delivery commitments.
• Plan and optimize transportation routes, considering factors such as traffic, weather, and fuel efficiency.
• Coordinate with drivers, dispatchers, and warehouse personnel to ensure seamless execution of transportation plans.
• Monitor fleet performance, vehicle maintenance schedules, and driver compliance with safety regulations.
• Manage and update fleet management software, generating reports on key performance indicators.
• Address and resolve any logistical issues or disruptions that may arise during transit.
• Ensure all operations comply with local and national transportation laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with the procurement team on vehicle acquisition and maintenance contracts.

• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role within the transportation industry, specifically with heavy vehicles.
• In-depth knowledge of fleet management principles, logistics software, and route optimization techniques.
• Strong understanding of Mexican transportation laws and regulations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with logistics management software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with diverse teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Residency or ability to commute to Mexico City, Mexico City .
