As a senior civil/structural engineer, you will be responsible for the analysis, design, and review of structural elements in nuclear power plants and industrial buildings, ensuring compliance with Canadian and international codes and standards.

• Civil Engineering degree from an accredited university with a minimum of 10 years of structural analysis and design experience in steel and concrete structures in nuclear power plants and/or industrial buildings. A master's degree and above is an asset.
• Must be licensed in a professional engineering organization recognized in Canada, preferably registered as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario.
• 3 to 5 years of site or field experience in nuclear power plants and/or industrial buildings is an asset.
• Experience with static, dynamic and seismic analysis of structures and foundations.
• Deep and thorough understanding of structural engineering gained through a combination of design-office and site experience.
• Thorough knowledge of Canadian and international codes and standards used in civil/structural engineering.
• Proficiency with analysis software commonly used in civil/structural engineering such as Staad Pro, SAP
  2000, ETABS, SAFE, etc.
• Knowledge of the modification process of nuclear power plants; ECC process or similar is an asset.
• Strong time‑management and prioritisation skills.
• Effective organisational skills.
• Knowledge of established nuclear QA guidelines, procedures and practices is preferable.
• Knowledge of applicable nuclear safety codes and regulations is an asset.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Ability to work effectively under tight schedules and budgets.
• Eligible for security clearance through Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).
• Travel to client sites is required.
