- Responsible for coordinating and facilitating project front‑end planning and scope breakdown using WBS.
- Develop and maintain detailed resource‑loaded project schedule and/or integrated schedule in Primavera P6.
- Ensure project schedule conforms with the organization’s quality and governance.
- Provide project performance reporting for both cost and schedule.
- Develop detailed schedules and/or provide schedule oversight activities to ensure full visibility on project timelines, establish baselines, and perform monitoring and control.
- Integrate individual project schedules into the overall program schedule.
- Facilitate project metrics reporting and variance analysis for both cost and schedule.
- Identify actual and potential deviations from the approved annual release, life‑cycle budgets, or schedule and report to the Project Manager.
- Recommend corrective actions and prepare and obtain approval of applicable change‑control documentation.
- Maintain project files that provide an auditable trail throughout the project lifecycle, including approvals, change control, and close‑out.
- Provide business‑unit support in developing, maintaining and updating project schedules, cost baselines, and budgets in collaboration with project managers and finance teams.
- Perform cost management for projects in accordance with our client’s project‑management governance.
- Facilitate and support project financial close‑out processes.
- Collaborate with project manager to address variances, adjusting project plans and budgets as needed to maintain financial control.
- Set up applicable source systems (AS9, Eco Sys, ePMX, P6, etc.) and ensure alignment with project control systems.
- Maintain alignment between source systems and project control systems throughout the project life cycle.
- A degree or diploma in an engineering discipline or a related discipline. AACE certifications (CCP, PSP, EVP), PMP, PMI‑SP, and/or Nuclear Industry certifications (Nuclear Fundamentals or Radiation Safety Training) are ideal.
- 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in nuclear project controls.
- Proficient in Primavera P6.
- Extensive experience with cost‑management software and similar tools for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Experience with Eco Sys is an asset.
- Understanding of earned‑value management, including SPI and CPI.
- Project‑management experience within a nuclear generating facility in a support capacity is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of interrelationships and the role of organizational units, interrelationships between work groups, stakeholders, and the mechanics of resolving controversial issues.
