• Drive an inclusive culture to promote equity and career progression.
• Support project‑specific conventional safety and environmental management plans, including inspections, audits, field observations, coaching, and participation in the Worker Trades Committee and JHSC.
• Advise project staff on conventional safety procedures:
  Hot Work, Working at Heights, Dropped Object Prevention, Confined Spaces, Electrical Equipment, Ergonomics, etc.
• Document field observations, critical risk management and behavioral‑based observations.
• Collect WBGT readings and communicate high hazard potentials.
• Assist in safety messaging for meetings and stand‑ups, and support Human Performance program activities.
• Help develop Safe Work Plans, JSA, High Hazard Assessments, Critical Material Handling and Lift plans, and give feedback on pre‑job briefs.
• Promote Core 4+ Tools (Pre‑Job Brief, Post‑Job Debrief, Procedure Adherence, 2‑Minute Job Site Drill, Verification Practices) and report injuries, spills, dropped objects, and near misses.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, unsafe conditions, and implement corrective actions aligned with the Hierarchy of Controls.
• Track and report safety statistics, manage Return to Work and review modified duty cases at the field level.
• Conduct site audits and provide feedback on the EHS management system.

• Minimum 2‑3 years of Health & Safety experience in the construction industry.
• Relevant post‑secondary education or equivalent experience in the H&S field.
• Designations such as NCSO, CHSO, CRSP, CRST, or Gold Seal are assets.
• Team player, adaptable to a changing environment.
• Experience delivering EHS training programs is an asset.
• Champion of inclusion and diversity.
• OPG security clearance considered an asset.
