Salary: $235,000 CAD/year (equivalent to $112.98 per hour for 40 hrs/week)

Duties:

Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of workers who package Nicotine, Energy food and beverage products (modern oral nicotine pouches, modern oral tobacco alternatives, modern oral energy pouches, and modern oral nutraceutical pouches);

Oversee production runs;

Train our current and future Operators/Technicians to a complete understanding of production and maintenance;

Manage a team of individuals to run the equipment with minimal physical input required;

Create documents to standardize operations and maintenance of machines;

Create OPLs (One-Point-Lessons) for training and troubleshooting;

Oversee the quality of the pouching and ensure the finished product falls within specifications;

Learn and ensure manufacturing to TJP's necessary (additional) Standard Operating Procedures as required to maintain Drug Establishment License activities in Canada;

Carry out initial maintenance with TJP staff and support the workers being trained on maintenance techniques;

Create schedules and oversee growth to triple shift environment;

Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work;

Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality;

Requisition materials and supplies;

Recommend personnel actions such as hirings and promotions; and

Prepare production and other reports.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience with packaging machinery (eg. G.D Snus Packer / Maker);

Knowledge of the maintenance and components of packaging equipment/machinery;

Experience operating packaging equipment/machinery and components;

Completion, or ability to obtain WHMIS Certification;

Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint;

Ability to obtain GMP, HACCP, ISO 9001 training
