Software Testing Intern

We are looking for a Software Testing Intern
As an intern in our Research and Development team, you will gain hands-on experience in supporting the development and maintenance of high-quality products in a regulated environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and be mentored by experienced professionals to build your knowledge and skills in R&D and product lifecycle management.

Core Responsibilities
Mentored by an experienced tutor you will:
Support the testing of complex teleoperated microsurgical medical device in terms of performance and functionality during the development and in verification phase
Document test procedures and process validation for medical device testing.
Support the testing of software supporting the use and servicing of medical devices.
Assist in the integration and testing of new computer vision algorithms.
Support the drafting and updating of technical documentation in compliance with relevant standards.
Assist in the execution of integration and validation tests.
Support the technical characterization and performance evaluation of surgical microscopes.

Education and Experience
Degree-level qualification in a science or engineering discipline, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Matlab).
Good written and oral communication skills in English (CEFR Level B2 or higher).
Strong technical writing skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

It offers the surgeon motion scaling and tremor elimination and aims to facilitate existing procedures as well as enable new ones in the domain of microsurgery, from post-oncological and trauma reconstructions to ophthalmology, organ transplantation and pediatric surgery.
