We are recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join a busy team in Plympton. This role is ideal for someone with a strong administration background, excellent customer service skills, and a keen eye for accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full order journey: enter, track, and update customer orders accurately and promptly.
Build and maintain customer relationships, handling profiles, certifications, NDAs, and credit applications.
Act as the customer’s main point of contact: communicate order status, shipping preferences, and resolve issues efficiently.
Liaise with production teams to ensure on-time delivery and escalate risks where necessary.
Support quotations and collaborate with technical teams on custom and pre-engineered projects.
Maintain organised electronic filing systems for data, drawings, and pricing.
Oversee stock code setup, specifications, pricing, and compliance with UK export regulations.
Work with Quality teams on returns, warranties, and service rework.
Contribute to continuous improvement by standardising database entries and improving data accuracy.
