We are seeking a dynamic Payroll Clerk to be based at our Head Office in Plymouth. The role assists in day‑to‑day payroll workload, working closely with the payroll team reporting to the Payroll Manager and the Assistant Payroll Manager.

• Support the payroll team in processing the 4‑weekly payroll.
• Assist in developing and implementing payroll processes and routines for hourly and salaried colleagues.
• Oversee key payroll activities to ensure accuracy and compliance, including new starters, promotions and leavers.
• Prepare and input data into the payroll system.
• Produce payroll reports.
• Resolve payroll queries while providing excellent customer service.
• Support key business projects by providing guidance on payroll processes and legislative requirements.
• Perform ad hoc administrative and office duties.

• Up‑to‑date knowledge of IT computer systems.
