Site Agent

We are recruiting a Site Agent to support a major nuclear defence programme based in Plymouth. This is a high-profile, long-term project delivering a brand new dock within a secure, regulated environment.

The successful candidate will come from a strong civil engineering background and will play a key role in managing and coordinating multiple subcontractors on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme, and in full compliance with nuclear and defence standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day site management for a large civil engineering package within a nuclear defence environment

• Oversight and coordination of multiple subcontractors and interfaces

• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards

• Implementing and maintaining high standards of health, safety, security, and environmental compliance

• Working closely with the Project Manager, client, and stakeholders to manage progress, risks, and change

• Reviewing RAMS, permits, and ensuring adherence to site procedures

• Reporting on progress, programme, and performance

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Agent or similar role on major civil engineering projects

• Strong background in civil engineering, ideally on complex or highly regulated projects

• Experience managing multiple contractors and subcontractors

• Valid BPSS, SC, or DV clearance (or eligibility and willingness to obtain)

• Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills

• CSCS card; SMSTS preferred
