Maintenance Engineer - Industry Leading Manufacturer

Butler Rose are proud to be partnering with a highly respected, market-leading business committed to delivering exceptional products and services. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a talented Maintenance Engineer to join their dynamic and supportive team.

Salary
  • Up to £42,600 (including shift premium)
Alternating Shift Pattern
  • Monday-Friday
  • 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00
The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of production. You'll be responsible for equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs, helping to reduce downtime and keep operations running at peak performance. This is a role for someone proactive, safety-focused, and passionate about continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine maintenance and inspections on machinery and equipment
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
  • Implement and improve preventative maintenance schedules
  • Work closely with production teams to maximise equipment efficiency
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance work
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with H&S standards
  • Support the installation and commissioning of new machinery
  • Provide guidance and training to colleagues on equipment use and best practice
What We’re Looking For
  • Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in a Maintenance Engineer role (or similar)
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Familiarity with maintenance management systems/software
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Confident communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotation
