Senior Civil Engineer

Plymouth - £35,000 to £45,000 pa BoE – Annual Bonuses - Flexible/Hybrid – Free Parking

The Role

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Civil Engineer to join a busy consultancy as a Senior member of the team, in their busy, friendly Plymouth office. You’ll take the lead in running your own pipeline of projects and reporting into the Directors. You will be managing a diverse mix of public and private sector work, from residential and education, to healthcare and commercial.

Responsibilities  
Surface water drainage and foul water drainage design
Produce flood risk and surface water strategies and drainage plans
Work collaboratively with the civils team and interdepartmentally
Prepare designs, drawings, reports, specifications, and packages
Run your own projects, delivering to a high standard and to deadline  Requirements  
BEng or MEng Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification
Minimum of 5 years’ previous, relevant industry experience
Competent in AutoCAD, Micro/Info drainage, Civil3D, Flow, and/or PDS
Familiar with the residential sector, local authorities, and road adoption
Excellent written, numerical, technical, and communication skills
