Join our expanding Corporate Tax team at ACCA Careers. As R&D Tax Manager, you will advise clients on delivering our R&D Tax Relief proposition.

• Identify opportunities for R&D tax relief/credits based on clients’ innovative activities.
• Collaborate with tax specialists to compile activity details and qualifying expenditure for HMRC submissions.
• Act as the primary contact for R&D Tax Advisory services, coaching colleagues on identifying R&D opportunities.
• Promote Bishop Fleming’s services, integrating R&D advice with broader offerings.
• Lead training and development of the tax team to enhance R&D service delivery.
• Contribute to other tax advisory and compliance services, broadening tax expertise.
• Shape responsibilities based on experience and career motivation.

• Proven track record delivering complex R&D Tax Relief claims in a full‑service accountancy firm or a regulated R&D practice.
• Strong communication skills; able to build relationships with senior stakeholders.
• People‑management experience, capable of coaching and developing a team.
• Excellent project‑management skills, organising numerous assignments effectively.
• ACA or CTA qualified.
• Desire to shape Bishop Fleming’s R&D Tax Services proposition locally.
• Beneficial experience in accounting, tax compliance, or tax advisory.
