Tax Senior

My client is a very successful and highly regarded accountancy practice offering a variety of services lines. Joining their team in Plymouth, your responsibilities in this role will be predominantly focused on compliance and review work, across personal tax, corporate tax and payroll services.

Your duties will include:

• Chasing of outstanding tax return information
• Completion of tax returns
• Reviewing tax returns
• Suggesting tax planning ideas on reviewing returns
• Report as necessary for the time of year and chasing managers and directors where appropriate.
• Assist with P11d preparation and completion
• Offer help, support and training to the tax assistants/other support staff as and when required.
• Assist with Probate tax administration.
• Deal with CGT 60-day reporting.

This role would be an ideal fit for a qualified ATT, though consideration will also be given to active ATT studiers and highly experienced non-qualified candidates. An extensive background within a mixed tax function in a practice is essential, and applicants should also have a strong technical tax background.
