We are looking for a dedicated Health Care Assistant Band 3 to join our friendly and supportive team in the beautiful South Hams area of Devon. As a Band 3 Health Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting patients and assisting clinical staff to provide safe, person-centred care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with delivery of nursing care and holistic assessment of patients ongoing daily living activities.
  • Supporting clinical interventions under supervision of RGN.
  • Monitoring and recording observations to ensure patient safety.
  • Promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing for all individuals.

Main duties of the job

The Opportunity

We are seeking a caring, proactive, and skilled Health Care Assistant Band 3 to join our South Hams community teams. You will support patients in their own homes, delivering safe, effective care under the direction and delegation of Registered Professionals. This is a role where you’ll make a visible difference every day, promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing across coastal and rural communities.

This Band 3 role is ideal if you have solid care experience e.g., Care Certificate and/or QCF/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care and your ready to broaden your clinical skills, take on enhanced responsibilities, and contribute to a genuinely values led service.

This role may not be eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route; please refer to the Direct Gov website for more information with regards to eligibility.
