About the RoleWe’re looking for the Business Development Manager of Power and Sustainability to be integral to our national sales strategy. You will shape strategy and implement growth plans. People buy from people – our sales staff are vital to our business and have a real impact on our bottom line. We look for naturally communicators and relationship builders, who know their clients and are passionate about our business.
You’ll build great relationships, generate leads from existing customers and new industries. The role is a healthy competitive technical sales role in a collaborative fast‑paced business. You’ll be joining a highly successful FTSE

- Proven sales record and desire to develop and maintain our successful business
- Experience working in a customer‑focused role with excellent relationship management skills
- Previous experience within the Power Rental and Sustainability sector
- Excellent planning and organising skills – manage own time to maximum effect
- Resilient and able to work in a pressurised environment
- Experience with Power, Clean Energy, Battery Storage Units and Energy Storage
- Effective communication, influencing and negotiating skills
- Ability to promote the Sunbelt Rentals brand and cross‑sell our product range
- Proficient IT skills and ability to analyse business plans, performance and market data
- Self‑motivated, high energy, engaging enthusiasm
- Full clean UK driving licence
The role will involve regional and occasional national travel/overnight stays.
