The team works with customers in vulnerable situations and complex customers who are experiencing homelessness.

In this role you will provide support and case management to people with multiple and complex needs using The Plymouth Alliance (TPA) principles. It would be great if you have previous experience of working with homeless and or other socially excluded people and a good understanding of safeguarding issues. You will also have the energy and enthusiasm to provide positive support and trauma‑informed care to those who need our support.

You will be working as part of a team to provide support to our customers experiencing homelessness. You will love helping others and enjoy supporting individuals to achieve their goals and to become more independent. Skills and qualifications
  • A working knowledge of the issues affecting people with complex needs and the potential impact on people’s physical, emotional and psychological wellbeing;
  • Able to demonstrate that you put the Alliance First Principle and One Common Goal at the heart of all you do;
  • Able to demonstrate you are an effective team worker (and able to work effectively on your own, if required);
  • Able to make sound decisions;
  • IT literate;
  • Completion/finisher;
  • A creative, flexible, compassionate, patient and sensitive approach to working with people who have experienced multiple disadvantages;
  • Innovative and proactive; looks at ways to improve systems and procedures for the benefit of the customer and to be more efficient;
  • Emotionally intelligent;
  • Flexible to change

37.5 hours per week – mix of 7.45am – 4pm and 14.00pm – 22.15pm including one weekend a month. 4‑week rolling pattern for rota.
