Full Comprehensive Benefits The role of the Technical Advisor Roofing & Waterproofing Systems will involve:
Technical Advisor position dealing with a range of liquid roofing systems for either waterproofing or fully built up roofing systems; which encompasses waterproofing, insulation, roof lights, edge trims and VCL (vapour control layer) Working closely with the external sales team who are gaining the specifications with predominantly building surveyors, but also some architects, health authorities, education and other major specifiers Majority of your time will be spent generating specifications received by the sales team Dealing with quotations of products Undertaking product training for sub-contractors and installers Providing technical advice to customers around the product range Occasionally meeting with suppliers and attending industry events Project sizes can vary from 20m 2 up to 2,000m 2 The ideal applicant will be a Technical Advisor Roofing & Waterproofing Systems with:
Must have technical experience within the building envelope market sector (roofing, flat roofing, coatings, cladding, brickwork, and facades) Ideally will have experience dealing with specifications Ideally will have an understanding of condition reports Ideally familiar with building regulations and processes Ideally able to utilise existing customer contacts with building surveyors and potentially architects Specific flat roofing knowledge of: waterproofing, insulation, roof lights, edge trims, VCL Vapour control layer, is advantageous Energy and enthusiasm with a willingness to learn Mitchell Maguire is a specialist Technical Construction Recruitment Consultancy, dealing exclusively with Technical Construction Jobs, Technical Construction Vacancies and Specification Positions within:
