Temporary HGV Class 1 Driver

Overview

Temporary HGV Class 1 Driver role ation:
South Elmsall, Pontefract & Dearne Valley, Rotherham. Start dates: 15th & 22nd September 2025. Temporary until 24th January 2026. Additional rates: weekly overtime 1.3x and rest day working 1.5x. Bonus:
Earn up to 6% of your quarterly salary, paid every 3 months.

Base rate (between the hours 06:00-22:00):
Monday - Friday £17.36ph, Saturday £19.85ph, Sunday £22.40ph. Night rate (between the hours 22:00-06:00):
Friday Night £22.40ph, Saturday Night £25.40ph, Sunday - Thursday Night £19.85ph.

Shift patterns:
South Elmsall - Mid shift, 4 over 7, 45 hours/week;
Late shift, 5 over 7, 45 hours/week. Dearne Valley - Early shift, 5 over 7, 45 hours/week;
Late shift, 4 over 7, 38 hours/week.

You will transport clothing and homeware products to distribution centres and stores in the UK. Training: 2 days with a Driver Development Coach (DDC), aligned to a Manager for additional support outside training.

• Licence requirements Class 1 C&E and CPC card
