Job Summary

On a 6‑month fixed term/secondment basis to cover maternity leave, the role includes caring for patients within PACU, a High Care Head and Neck Bay and nine step‑down beds within the ward. Co‑horting these patients to predominantly one High Care area, that is co‑located with the Critical Care Unit, will improve patient care and outcomes, providing a consistent team of suitably skilled professionals to ensure continuity of care in a suitable environment.
You will join a team of dedicated nursing staff who will provide all the support you need to flourish and further develop your knowledge and skills. A training programme will be provided for successful candidates.
We have a structured team‑base ethos where we regularly meet, hold specific development days and receive regular personal appraisals. All posts are rotational between day and night shifts. Part‑time applications are welcomed. If you are interested in applying for a secondment, please obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying.
