Job Description:

JDR Recruitment are currently looking for reliable and hard-working Production Operatives to join our client's busy manufacturing team based in Pontypool.

This is an excellent opportunity for long-term, full-time work with the potential to become permanent.

The Role:

As a Production Operative, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day manufacturing process, supporting the production team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Your responsibilities will include:
Operating production machinery and equipment safely Assisting with the assembly and finishing of manufactured products Loading and unloading materials Operating a forklift as required Carrying out basic quality checks Maintaining a clean and organised work area Always Following health & safety procedures Supporting other production and workshop tasks as required This role is hands-on and can be physically demanding, requiring good manual handling ability.

About You:

We're looking for someone who:
Holds a valid FLT Licence (essential) Has previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment (preferred but not essential) Is reliable, punctual, and has a positive attitude Works well as part of a team and can follow instructions Takes pride in maintaining a safe and tidy workspace Has their own PPE (safety boots, hi-vis, gloves, etc.) Has access to transport due to the site location The Benefits:
